May 25th, 2023 - I think the choice to try the WLRM and the CCI was a good one. Very interesting and similar results.

You will see the images below that tell the tale. The dreaded "FLYER" showed its ugly head today, but I am not sure why at this point. Oddly enough the flyer occurred on shot #2 in both groups?? I assume this is purely coincidence, but has me scratching my head. The standard deviation in my opinion is incredible.

Next step is to see if the flyer can be corrected with a slight velocity change. I will take both Primers to 17.0 grains and see what happens. If I still get flyers, will look at case filler or taper crimp. The standard deviation is so low I am hesitant to change a load that consistent.

Here is the CCI load running 16.9 Grains of unique. Pretty good group except for the flyer. The flyer was clocked at 1740 (lowest) which would make sense except considering the Primer test, the slower shots were in similar locations. Maybe 17.0 Gns would bring the average into the node?

Small group Center to Center .60"

Large group C to C = 1.281"

Here is the WLRM load running 16.9 Grains of unique. Group wasnt quite as tight as the CCI, but check out the Deviation! The flyer (shot #2) was clocked at 1739 which would make sense except for the fact that shot #4 also clocked at 1739 and made it into the group. I think I am riding the edge of the node at 1740.....
